Consolidación de la legibilidad genérica y continuidad del impulso cognoscitivo en la nueva ciencia ficción argentina

Abstract

El siguiente estudio se propone examinar el estado de la legibilidad genérica en ficciones de anticipación argentinas contemporáneas. Para esto, se cotejará la hipótesis acerca de la supuesta hibridez narrativa y la aparente constitución “atópica” (Barthes 2008) de los textos incluidos en el corpus con la continuidad de la función de conocimiento. Complementariamente, se busca confrontar la creencia en el desdén cognitivo del cual serían producto estas ficciones, por medio de la apreciación del predominio del verosímil epistemológico de los discursos de las ciencias sociales. De tal manera, podrá constatarse que el impulso cognoscitivo implícito en una zona importante de la narrativa de ciencia ficción argentina escrita en la última década se explica a partir de un desplazamiento en el carácter de la imaginación científica. Amparándonos en las hipótesis de Chiani (1996, 2018), Reati (2006, 2012) y Kurlat Ares (2012, 2017), entre otros, se confeccionará un dispositivo de lectura que permita analizar de qué modo la racionalidad científica, en su vertiente “blanda”, es el horizonte epistémico hegemónico de la clase de extrañamiento que estructura –aún hoy- la ciencia ficción argentina.

The following study aims to examine the state of generic readability in contemporary Argentine anticipation fictions. For this, the hypothesis about the supposed narrative hybridity and the apparent “atopic” constitution (Barthes 2008) of the texts included in the corpus will be compared with the continuity of the knowledge function. Complementarily, it seeks to confront the belief in the cognitive disdain of which these fictions would be the product, through the appreciation of the predominance of epistemological plausibility in the discourses of the social sciences. In this way, it can be confirmed that the cognitive impulse implicit in an important area of Argentine science fiction narrative written in the last decade is explained by a shift in the character of the scientific imagination. Based on the hypotheses of Chiani (1996, 2018), Reati (2006, 2012) and Kurlat Ares (2012, 2017), among others, a reading device will be created that allows us to analyze how scientific rationality, in its aspect " soft”, is the hegemonic epistemic horizon of the kind of estrangement that structures – even currently – Argentine science fiction.
